WW - Rolex Day-Date, "President," ref 18239, circa 1988, 36mm x 44mm to lug tips, 20mm lug width, original 18K white gold screw back Oyster case with fluted bezel, 18K white gold President bracelet with hidden clasp, original silvered dial aged an even darker color with applied silver indices, two inset apertures for day at 12 and date at 3, double QS, 31J cal 3155, s#L286402, triple signed with signed clasp, bracelet ref 8385 with 55B stamped solid end links, inside back ref 18200. Head and bracelet combined length is just over 7.25 inches; bracelet with 5 links showing screw heads. Includes inner box as well as the original paperwork and sales receipt from Bucherer in Switzerland.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, no oxide on rotor, no oxide elsewhere; nearly flawless dial with hardly any surface spotting; nearly mint hands; unpolished case shows very little wear, light scuffs to caseback; bracelet shows ample wear, ample stretch, numerous light dings to bracelet links, several flat spots to bottom links; original signed crown shows very little wear, good threads; sapphire crystal with edge chip at 1; resealed for auction; inner box shows light wear.
